High quality New Zealand Sphagnum moss is famous for its excellent natural properties. It lasts and lasts making it a great growing media. Spagmoss Classic Grade - Commercial and standard retail, S. cristatum, length of up to 100mm for 60-70% of the product colour light brown/cream some green tinges.

New Zealand Sphagnum Moss 8 Litre

Measurements:

The compressed brick measures approx. 20cmx12cm before hydration.

Thickness is approx. 12mm.

Once hydrated, it fluffs up to 8 Litres of high quality sphagnum moss.

It is commonly used;
By both commercial and hobby orchid growers in the cultivation of various orchid species.
As an additive to increase water holding in other substrates.

POSTAGE:

Packs of 1 or 2 will be sent in a thick envelope using Australia Post, and is untracked to keep the cost down for you. Orders of 3 or more bricks, and all other size packs of the spagmoss will be sent with tracking. If you need it very quickly, simply select the Express options.

New Zealand Sphagnum moss is a versatile product renowned for its remarkable natural properties; it is long lasting with an excellent water holding capacity.
Deep on the West Coast of New Zealand’s South Island, water flows from the spectacular Southern Alps feeding the natural habitat of Sphagnum moss. From this pristine environment we harvest Sphagnum cristatum and Sphagnum subnitens to produce Spagmoss.
The natural beneficial properties of New Zealand sphagnum are enhanced by our exceptional production processes. The labour intensive process begins when the moss is hand picked from swamps which are dedicated to the farming of Sphagnum moss. After being extracted from the swamp by helicopter it is transported to Coastpak where the second phase of the processing begins.
