14mm Orchid Flower Stem Butterfly Clip

For use with Bamboo Flower Stick

To be used in conjunction with a stake – most commonly a thin bamboo stick like the one below.

Stake Flower Spikes when approximately 20-22cm high

It is suggested that you stake the Flower spikes when they reach approximately 20 cm high. That way they have been given the opportunity to grow and strengthen before staking.

Be careful not to break the stem

It might be a good practice to angle the stake a little rather that force the stem straight as the flower stems can break.

Multiple clips

You may need to use more than one clip per stem to keep the stem straight and upright. As the flowers come out, the stem will become more top heavy.  You can add a second or even a third clip to keep the shape. Simply move the 14mm Orchid Flower Stem Butterfly Clip up or down as needed once the flower stem continues to grow.

Looks after Flower Stem

If you apply them correctly, they will not harm the flower spike at all.
